Penn State University is seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator to develop and maintain expertise in Federal, State, and University regulations, policies, and procedures, and to contribute to the analysis of these regulations.

The role supports participation in Federal and State Student Aid programs and handles processing and troubleshooting of aid programs including grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required Certifications: None

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise in federal, state, and institutional aid regulations.
• Process and troubleshoot grants, scholarships, work-study, loans and other programs.
• Review reports to adjust aid and communicate with federal/state agencies.
• Provide financial aid counseling to students and families by email and phone.
