Assists in facilitating workshops and learns to make presentations on and off campus to groups regarding financial aid and scholarships.**Responsibilities:*** Front desk, telephone, and e-mail contact with students.* Advises and counsels students, parents, and/or prospective students in solving their educational financial problems through scholarships, loans, grants, employment and financial counseling.* Responds and researches answers to questions and counseling.* Assists in providing loan and indebtedness counseling.* Reviews student files and makes adjustments.* Reviews appeals and makes decisions regarding the validity of these appeals.* Package students’ financial aid awards for fall, spring, and summer* Communications, imaging and processing/copying/faxing necessary forms.
