Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of college financial aid experience.

• Experience auditing and packaging awards, including need analysis and EFC.
• Ability to supervise, train and lead staff and student aides.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of the Financial Aid department and guides staff and student aides.
• Packages financial aid and scholarships and disburses funds in compliance with regulations.
• Interviews and assists students with complex eligibility, dependency and appeal cases.
• Writes, modifies, and runs SQL queries and audits data for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensures deadlines are met and communicates policy changes to staff and students.
