  • Help students understand implications of their financial decisions and promote responsible borrowing.
  • Respond to student inquiries (email/phone) within 24–48 hours.
  • Conduct scheduled appointments with new and continuing students.
  • Conduct financial aid presentations and workshops for prospective and current students.

Responsibilities
  • Guide students and parents (families) through the financial aid process, including the completion of relevant forms such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Inform and educate students and parents (families) about different types of financial aid available, such as scholarships, grants, and loans.
  • Communicate with students about their financial aid package and any adjustments that may occur.
  • Assist students with loan applications, entrance and exit counseling, and debt management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments in the institution, including the admissions and registrar’s offices, to ensure accuracy in student records.
  • Help students understand the implications of their financial decisions, promoting responsible borrowing.
  • Respond to all student communication (email/phone calls) within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Conduct scheduled appointments with new and continuing students.
  • Conduct financial aid presentations and workshops for prospective and current students.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in financial aid counseling or a related field is preferred.
