Job summary

CHCP in Houston, TX is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor for a full-time online role. You will develop, negotiate, and finalize student financial aid plans in line with state, federal, accreditation, and CHCP policies, and counsel students on available aid.

Requirements include a high school diploma and knowledge of federal/state regulations impacting Title IV funding; campusvue familiarity is preferred. The position offers health insurance, PTO, 401K matching, holidays off, and competitive pay.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations which may impact Title IV funding.
• Basic knowledge of CampusVue database (preferred).

Experience:

• Previous experience working with and technical knowledge of student financial aid programs preferred.
• At least two years' experience working in a post-secondary institution.
