CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) in Dallas seeks a Financial Aid Advisor to guide students through the aid process, ensuring compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and institutional regulations.

You will develop, negotiate, and finalize financial aid packages, counsel prospective and current students, collaborate with admissions and finance teams, and maintain accurate records to support audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; related education preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a post-secondary institution.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state Title IV regulations.
• Familiarity with CampusVue or similar student information system.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of financial aid activities to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.


• Collaborate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues related to financial aid packaging and disbursement.


• Stay updated on changes to financial aid regulations and policies to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is preferred.


• Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting Title IV funding.


• Familiarity with CampusVue or similar student information systems is preferred.


• Previous experience working with and technical knowledge of student financial aid programs is highly desirable.


• Minimum of two years' experience in a post-secondary institution, demonstrating expertise in financial aid processes and compliance.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively support students and uphold institutional standards.
