Job summary

Five Star Credit Union in Dothan, AL is seeking a Financial Advocate to deepen member relationships by opening accounts, processing card disputes, assisting with electronic devices, and outbound sales calls in a fast-paced environment.

Two openings exist: one at the Murphy Mill Financial Center in Dothan and another that floats within the Southeast Alabama Market, home base Murphy Mill. Pay starts at $22.27 per hour and grows with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a good understanding of Credit Union operations, products and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent computer and technology skills, and strong communication abilities.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced sales and service environment.
• Previous experience in a sales and service environment within a financial institution is preferred.

Salary Range: $22.27 To $27.84 Hourly

The Financial Advocate focuses on developing and enhancing member relationships. This position assists members with opening a wide variety of products and services, processing card disputes, assisting with electronic devices, outbound sales calling, and other tasks to further deepen relationships.

The successful candidate must possess a good understanding of Credit Union operations, products and services, and related legal and regulatory requirements. He/She must be well organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced sales and service environment. They must possess excellent computer and technology skills, communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Previous experience in a sales and service environment within a financial institution is preferred.

There are 2 openings. One position will serve our members at the Murphy Mill Financial Center in Dothan, AL. The other will float between our Southeast Alabama Market with the Murphy Mill Financial Center as the home center.

Salary range is dependent upon experience: pay starts at $22.27 and may increase with qualifying experience.
