Job summary

Raymond James invites motivated professionals to join the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) as Financial Advisor Trainees. Based in Charleston, you will balance new client development, sales activities, investment management, customer service and compliance under mentorship, aiming to build a personal practice.

You will train at the firm’s international headquarters and progress toward licensure, with ongoing development and potential to join an existing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred with a minimum of three years of relevant sales or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Meets production targets impacting company revenue goals.
• Develops a book of business aligned with AMP goals for assets under management.
• Provides high level client service and manages full client relationships.
• Opens, transfers, and closes customer accounts and maintains account records.
• Obtains and verifies client buy/sell instructions, enters orders, and follows up on transactions.
• Completes required program training and licenses within prescribed timeframes.
• Stays current on investment products, rules, and financial planning.
