Job description

The Rogan Group has partnered with a rapidly growing, nationally recognized independent RIA in the search for a driven and relationship-oriented Financial Advisor. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced advisor to step into a client-facing role with significant growth potential, including inheriting a very large, established book of business from a retiring advisor as part of a structured succession plan.

In this role, you will collaborate directly with senior leaders to deliver personalized financial planning and investment guidance to high-net-worth households, while stepping into a client base that is already deep, active, and highly engaged. You will also support broader business development efforts, helping expand the client base while strengthening existing relationships.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Immediate succession opportunity: inherit a substantial, long-standing book of high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Join a thriving, fast-expanding RIA with national reach and a strong commitment to continued growth.
  • Work side by side with senior advisors, gaining hands-on experience with complex client relationships.
  • Clear track for long-term advancement, including leadership opportunities.
  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values innovation, integrity, and exceptional client service.
Role Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Planning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an existing base of high-net-worth clients, delivering a best-in-class advisory experience.
  • Lead and support client meetings, create planning materials, analyze financial data, and implement recommendations.
  • Develop tailored investment, tax, and financial planning strategies in collaboration with senior advisors.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, financial projections, and cash flow analyses to proactively guide client decisions.
Succession Planning & Transition Management
  • Seamlessly assume responsibility for a large, established book of business tied to a retiring advisor.
  • Build trust quickly with legacy clients through proactive communication and high-touch advisory support.
  • Maintain continuity of service while introducing updated planning frameworks, technology, and processes as appropriate.
Business Development & Relationship Growth
  • Engage warm referrals and new leads to expand the client base beyond the inherited relationships.
  • Identify new planning opportunities within existing households to deepen relationships and drive organic growth.
  • Develop new relationships through personal and professional networks.
  • Execute trades and manage account administration to ensure accuracy and a seamless client experience.
  • Partner with planning, investment, and operations teams to deliver coordinated financial solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in technical planning and client service workflows.
  • Participate in firmwide training, technology adoption, and planning initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
  • 5–10 years of client-facing advisory experience within an RIA or wealth management environment.
  • Series 7/66 or Series 65 required.
  • Strong technical background in financial planning, portfolio implementation, and HNW client servicing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, planning software, and investment platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, client-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus.
  • A structured, well-defined career path with leadership opportunities.
