Our client is a well-established, independent wealth management firm seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Financial Advisor to join its growing team. This individual will serve as the primary advisor for an established book of clients while playing an important role in delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment guidance, and ongoing relationship management. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships and thrives in a collaborative, planning-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor for an established client base, providing ongoing financial planning, investment guidance, and proactive relationship management
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's goals, including retirement planning, tax strategies, investment allocation, risk management, and estate planning considerations
- Clearly communicate recommendations and educate clients to help them make informed financial decisions
- Meet with prospective clients and help transition new relationships into long-term planning engagements
- Partner closely with internal operations and client service teams to ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through ongoing account maintenance
- Proactively identify planning opportunities and recommend strategies that enhance client outcomes
- Maintain detailed client records and document activity within the firm's CRM and financial planning systems
- Participate in business development initiatives, client events, and educational seminars as needed
- Support and mentor junior advisors and contribute to the continued growth of the advisory team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor or Wealth Advisor
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships and delivering comprehensive financial planning service
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative skill
- Solid understanding of retirement planning, investment management, insurance solutions, tax-aware planning, and wealth preservation strategies
- Series 65 (or equivalent) require
- CFP designation and insurance licensing are preferred
- Experience utilizing financial planning software and CRM platform
