Job summary

West Virginia Public Broadcasting is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to oversee budgeting, reporting, and compliance for all operations in the Beckley/Charleston area. The role leads the business office team to ensure strong financial controls and accurate reporting to affiliated boards.

The position partners with nonprofits supporting WV Public Broadcasting and oversees external audits. Remote work is not allowed; limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or another relevant field.
• Five years’ experience in accounting, business administration or management with a focus on budget oversight.
• Work experience in state government and/or the nonprofit sector.
• Knowledge and interest in public broadcasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and compliance for WV Public Broadcasting.
• Lead the business office team and ensure strong financial controls.
• Provide financial information and reports to affiliated boards.
• Oversee external audit and related financial activities.
