Acara Solutions is looking for financial accounting manager to work for our partner who specializes in electronics manufacturing out in Newark, CA.

Pay Rate:

$77,000.00-$102,600.000/yr

Financial Accounting Manager

Job Summary: Financial and tax reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual closing, intercompany, SOX compliance and involvement in FAR and CAS compliance. Primary contact for external auditors and assuring compliance with internal and external regulations. Analysis of financial data to ensure the accurate, timely and proper accounting of financial statements while maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger. Maintenance of accounting practices to ensure that financial and budgeting/operating data accurately reflect business conditions and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close process
• Ensure compliance and submission of tax reporting and payments, including multi-state sales tax.
• FAR and CAS compliance
• Own the SOX compliance and narrative maintenance
• Manage payroll accuracy and sign off
• Manage the coordination of activities with Teledyne AR and AP shared service
• Responsible for all financial accounting matters
• Assist with Fixed Assets
• Support the general Accounting function as required

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Five years' general accounting experience desired, Cost Accounting experience a plus
• Knowledge of General Accounting Principles
• Basic MS Excel skills required
• Experience with an ERP or MRP System a plus. Oracle and/ or SAP knowledge a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
