Job summary

Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking a Financial Accountant II in College Station, TX. The role audits accounts payable, ensures compliance, and supports department offices and vendors. You will handle daily check production and coordinate with Disbursements to resolve issues.

Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) with 2 años of related experience is preferred; experience with Aggie Buy, Concur, and FAMIS is a plus. This staff position offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; two years of related experience.
• Experience with Aggie Buy and Concur preferred.
• Auditing accounts payable and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, problem solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Audits accounts payable documents for payment using Aggie Buy and FAMIS.
• Process daily check production/distribution and respond to inquiries.
• Provide customer support to department offices and vendors.
• Coordinate with Disbursements to resolve issues and report payment status.
