Job summary

Continental General in Austin is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the Finance & Valuation domain, delivering statutory and GAAP financial reporting capabilities, valuation data extracts, and banking integrations. This hybrid role requires strong insurance domain knowledge and agile leadership.

Qualifications

7+ years in insurance with exposure to financial reporting, valuations, reserves, or reinsurance operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent Excel and SQL capabilities to work with complex calculations and data files.

Responsibilities

Own and manage Finance & Valuation backlog with clear priorities and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with actuarial, finance, accounting, banking, and tech stakeholders.
Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness with traceability.
Translate actuarial and regulatory requirements into actionable development work.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
