AXIS Capital is seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive agile transformation across Global Operations. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact initiatives and ensure successful product launches.

The role requires deep insurance operations knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Insurance with minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
• Background in Operations transformation and insurance systems integration.
• Knowledge of P&C Commercial and Specialty lines, including North American and Global Operations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to express complex ideas clearly and visually.
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a product vision and roadmap aligned with AXIS strategy and stakeholder needs.
• Lead operational readiness for product launches, ensuring systems and processes are aligned.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for agile delivery teams.
• Manage and prioritize the Operations product backlog to focus on high-impact initiatives.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups with delivery teams.
• Track and report Agile delivery metrics to monitor team performance and product impact.
• Champion Agile principles and coach team members on best practices and continuous improvement.
• Ensure user feedback is continuously gathered and integrated into product iterations.
• Empower cross-functional teams to make decisions and deliver value independently.
• Use Agile tools to manage backlogs, track progress, and communicate priorities.
