Job summary

AXIS Capital, a global provider of specialty lines insurance, seeks a Product Owner to drive agile transformation within Global Operations. You will define the product vision, own the backlog, and coordinate with delivery teams to execute strategic initiatives.

In this hybrid role based in Alpharetta, GA, you will guide cross-functional teams, translate business needs into stories, and measure impact with agile metrics. Prior insurance operations experience is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Insurance with 3+ years as Product Owner in Agile.
Background in Operations transformation and insurance systems integration.
Knowledge of P&C Commercial and Specialty lines (NA/global).
Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management.
Proficiency with Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate a product vision and roadmap aligned with AXIS strategy.
Lead operational readiness for product launches and ensure aligned systems.
Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for agile teams.
Manage and prioritize the Operations backlog for high-impact initiatives.
Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups; track metrics.
