Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Director of Accounting, Transitions & New Development to lead accounting transitions for hotels and new development projects. Based in The Woodlands, TX with collaboration across CAO, Treasury, and Regional Finance to ensure accurate, GAAP-aligned reporting and training delivery.

The role requires 5–7 years in hotel accounting or related finance operations, strong USALI/GAAP knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Five to seven years of progressive accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel accounting operations, internal controls, financial reporting, and monthly close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting-related transition requirements for hotel transitions and new development projects.
• Map and map historical financial information into Pyramid systems and chart of accounts.
• Develop and maintain post-transition training calendar and deliver training sessions.
• Coordinate handoffs to Regional Finance leaders and ensure rapid property stabilization after openings or transitions.
• Travel to select properties for on-site training as needed.
