Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple finance transformation initiatives across Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Technology teams.
- Drive projects related to Revenue Recognition, Order-to-Cash (O2C) process improvements, and Global Indirect Tax transformation.
- Assess current-state finance processes, systems, controls, and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Define practical future-state solutions and transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, governance structures, milestones, and accountability frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.
- Lead process optimization efforts focused on efficiency, scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Finance and Technology teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and system effectiveness.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change impacts while ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years leading Finance Transformation, Finance Operations, or Enterprise Transformation programs.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes, including Revenue Recognition, Order-to-Cash, Financial Controls, Tax Operations, and Financial Reporting.
- Strong project and program management capabilities with a record of successful execution.
- Experience working directly with senior Finance and Accounting leaders.
- Ability to quickly assess business challenges, establish priorities, and execute practical solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Preferred: experience in global digital, subscription, streaming, media, or entertainment businesses.
- Preferred: background in finance process, data, and systems transformation, including ERP implementations and finance technology platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with global tax and compliance requirements and operating model transformation.
- Preferred: consulting experience within large enterprise environments.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Information Systems, or similar) preferred.Professional certifications such as PMP, CPA, CMA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management, or equivalent are a plus.
- Additional coursework or certifications in Finance Transformation, ERP systems, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Process Improvement are highly desirable.
