Job summary

BRG, a leading consultancy, seeks an Associate Director – Finance Excellence to drive strategic performance initiatives for private equity-backed and portfolio companies. You will lead cross-functional engagements, build robust finance transformations, and deliver measurable value creation and reporting improvements.

The role requires deep expertise in financial modeling, ERP/EPM and BI platforms, and proven leadership in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business required
• MBA or advanced degree a plus
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent credential a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engagements across finance transformation, operational improvement, and value creation
• Serve as primary client contact for CFOs, PE sponsors, and lenders
• Translate complex challenges into structured analyses and execution plans
• Develop board-ready presentations, financial models, and transformation roadmaps
• Identify improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis and problem solving
• Implement processes across finance, accounting, and operations to drive efficiency
• Mentor junior staff and manage multiple workstreams
• Embrace AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and insights
• Support practice development including recruiting and business development
