Job summary

BRG is seeking an Associate Director in Finance Excellence to lead engagements across finance transformation and operational performance. You will partner with CFOs, PE sponsors, and lenders to drive measurable improvements and value creation.

You will translate complex challenges into structured analyses, develop transformation roadmaps, and deliver board-ready presentations. The role requires 8+ years of related experience and a strong command of financial modeling and ERP/EPM platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or related advisory roles.
• Experience in both consulting and industry environments is a plus.
• Exposure to PE-backed companies or sponsor-driven environments is preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and deliver under pressure in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engagements across finance transformation, operational improvement, and value creation.
• Serve as primary client contact for CFOs and executive leadership.
• Translate complex business problems into structured analyses and actionable workplans.
• Develop board-ready presentations, financial models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis and strategic problem solving.
• Mentor junior team members and manage multiple workstreams.
