Job summary

Brown & Brown in the United States seeks a Financial Business Transformation Lead - Projects to bridge Finance, Operations and Technology and drive end-to-end solutions. The role serves as a strategic partner for financial transformation initiatives and provides leadership across analysis, design, and prioritization.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent accounting certification is preferred, but not required.
• Insurance certifications preferred, but not required (AAI, CIC, ARM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across cross-functional initiatives (finance, MGA operations, premium accounting).
• Propose and shape future-state solutions with scalability and financial integrity.
• Influence prioritization based on value, risk, and urgency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts.
• Ensure solutions align with accounting principles (revenue recognition, reporting accuracy).
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles with proactive problem solving.
• Participate in meetings with business, vendors, leadership and project teams.
• Interpret products and project objectives.
• Identify changes to systems/workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and lead policies, processes and documentation.
• Create training materials related to insurance and financial workflows.
• Provide feedback to directors and leaders on best practices.
• Communicate with leaders and vendors on issues and corrective actions.
• Experience in a large team environment across cross-functional teams.
