Job summary

Sompo in the United States seeks a Senior Finance Business Analyst to drive Finance transformation within the Finance Change team. Lead requirements gathering, process design and end-to-end solutions partnering with Finance, IT and stakeholders.

Based in New York City or Morristown, NJ, you will enable standardization, controls and automation while aligning with accounting and regulatory requirements, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, finance transformation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes and best practices.
• Experience partnering with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive process optimization, standardization, automation, and technology-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and process improvement initiatives, from requirements gathering and process design through implementation.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end solutions that improve efficiency, standardization, controls, and quality while meeting accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate process walkthroughs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive stakeholder alignment and adoption.
• Promote global process standardization and leading practices while assessing and managing necessary business-specific deviations.
• Partner with project managers to identify risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and support successful delivery.
• Support technology-enabled process automation and implementation, including change impact assessments, business readiness, testing, training, and adoption.
• Collaborate with Change Management and other delivery teams to ensure clear communication and successful implementation.
