Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health in New York, NY is seeking a North America Finance Transformation Lead to coordinate a portfolio of Finance 2.0 initiatives across R2R, O2C, P2P, and Payroll. Location: New York, NY; on-site with hub locations in Vancouver, WA and Santa Monica, CA.

This senior individual contributor role partners with Global PMO, retained finance teams, and external partners to deliver value, drive automation, and ensure a smooth transition to the future operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance operations, or large-scale program delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-project portfolios with interdependencies.
• Deep expertise in R2R with strong knowledge of O2C, P2P, and Payroll.
• Experience with shared services (GBS), BPO providers, and technology implementation partners.
• Successful delivery of ERP or finance transformation programs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Strong program and portfolio management, execution discipline, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to operate as an individual contributor while coordinating across large teams.
• Analytical and financial acumen with benefits tracking and performance measurement skills.
• Excellent communication; ability to engage executive stakeholders; adaptability and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end orchestration of a ~120-project Finance 2.0 portfolio across R2R, O2C, P2P, and Payroll.
• Translate global PMO objectives into executable regional plans and manage dependencies.
• Drive execution discipline with accountability, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Interface with the global PMO on governance, standards, and reporting.
• Provide data-driven insights on regional execution, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify and realize productivity improvements with measurable business value.
• Lead transition phases, mitigate risks, and support business continuity.
• Coordinate stakeholders and resources across a matrixed environment.
• Drive standardized, harmonized finance processes and automation initiatives.
• Support readiness, training, communication, and post-implementation adoption.
