Job summary

EliseAI in San Francisco is seeking a Deployment Manager for the Future Platforms team to lead the accounting portion of multi-client deployments, from late-stage sales handoff to post-launch stabilization. You will own COA configuration, vendor setup, mapping of transactions, and work with Controllers, CFOs, and finance teams to define and implement future-state processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups.
• Background in accounting or finance (e.g., former Controller, Senior Accountant, accounting consultant, or accounting-focused operator).
• Experience managing complex, client-facing implementations or projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, reconciliations, close process, workflows).
• Comfortable with data, configurations, and systems; excellent communicator with senior finance stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Drive the accounting portion of multiple concurrent deployments, from late-stage sales handoff through post-launch stabilization.
• Roll off accounts once they are fully live and operating on the platform.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and operational readiness across all accounting workflows.
• Lead discovery, scoping, and decisioning with Controllers, CFOs, and Finance teams.
• Own configuration and implementation including COA setup, vendor/entity setup, and data mapping.
• Drive data migration, post-launch reconciliations, and close process stabilization.
• Provide adoption training and build scalable playbooks with Product and Engineering.
