Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Finance Transformation Analyst to join the Accounting Automation Services (AATS) team. You will drive and automate financial processes, manage projects from planning to delivery, and partner with accounting, finance, and tech teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires strong communication, data-driven decision making, and experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This position is onsite in Culver City, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
• Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning & strategy, requirements gathering, tech partnerships, UAT, to stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Define requirements and collaborate with partner teams to design, implement and launch scalable solutions.
• Design processes and procedures that scale with growth, volume, and global dispersion.
• Communicate new/updated programs to leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and controllership.
• Negotiate efficient processes and policies across partner teams to reduce dependencies and defects.
• Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and implement plans, measuring impact.
