Job summary

Fordham University Gabelli School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Finance and Business Economics faculty position beginning September 1, 2027. The position is open to candidates at Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Base salary ranges: Assistant $200,000-$250,000; Associate $250,000-$275,000, commensurate with rank and qualifications. Candidates will maintain an active research agenda, teach undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral courses, advise and mentor students,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or a directly related field, or expect degree within one semester of start.
• Strong potential for high-quality research and publication in leading finance journals.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching; prior faculty experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active research agenda and publish in leading finance journals.
• Teach undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral courses.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in Area and Gabelli School service.
