Job summary

Baruch College's Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance seeks up to two tenure-track Associate/Assistant Professors in Finance for Fall 2027, subject to budget approval. Successful candidates will conduct high-quality research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and participate in departmental service.

Applicants should be able to teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid) and contribute to programs offered on campus and with global partners.

The Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance is seeking applicants for up to two tenure track Associate/Assistant Professor positions in Finance starting Fall 2027, subject to final budget approval. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality scholarly research in finance, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, mentor students (undergraduate, master's, Ph.D.), and share responsibility for committee and department assignments. Applicants should be able to teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid) and participate in Zicklin programs offered both on campus and with our global partners.

Compensation

• Assistant Professor: $220,000-$235,000
• Associate Professor: $235,000-$255,000
