Job summary

Accelerant is seeking a Business Engagement and Solutions Lead – Finance / Accounting to bridge Finance leadership and Technology, shaping demand and guiding roadmaps to deliver finance-focused solutions. This role requires equal fluency in finance and technology, acting as the voice of the business within technology and vice versa.

The role will own Finance product roadmaps, define capabilities, and ensure investments align with strategy while balancing short-term needs with long-term platform

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business engagement / product management / finance–technology partnership roles within Financial Services, Insurance or Tech.
• Proven track record owning business outcomes for Finance while partnering with technology delivery.
• Experience leading a small team of Business Engagement resources and orchestrating outcomes across Finance Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex Finance needs into clear, testable requirements and to manage capability/product roadmaps.
• Hands‑on exposure working alongside ERP/EPM and Finance transformation programs.
• Professional credentials such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA, or product/analysis certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface with Finance leadership and ensure business needs are represented.
• Capture, elicit, and document Finance requirements with precision and translate into actionable specs.
• Own Finance product/ capability roadmaps and align initiatives with enterprise strategy.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform capabilities and scalability.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business benefits.
• Engage in Finance leadership forums to align goals, priorities, and outcomes.
