Finance Technology Manager — Workday Transformation Leader

Job summary

AllianceBernstein in Nashville, TN seeks a Manager of Corporate Finance Technology to drive Workday Financials transformation and lead a high-performing team. You will own the strategy, align with leadership, and deliver value across HCM, Revenue, and Reporting platforms.

You will partner with finance and technology leaders to ensure successful end-to-end implementation, operate with strong governance, and coach a team of product owners and engineers to optimize financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, MIS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Experience with finance functions including GL, AP, AR, Tax, and Asset Management.
• Strong accounting knowledge: financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• End-to-end technical project delivery experience.
• Data management, migration, validation, and integration.
• Workday integrations with third-party apps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Workday Pro Certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for Workday Financials products.
• Oversee day-to-day management operations and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Solution Leads and Process Owners.
• Oversee data integrity, migration, and transformation between systems.
• Manage release cycles and stay current with Workday updates.
• Maintain documentation including user stories, data mapping, and test scenarios.
• Lead and develop a team of finance technology experts and product owners.
