Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a senior leader to drive strategy, prioritization, and execution of technology-enabled innovation across Finance. You will partner with Finance, Technology, Data, and Risk teams to identify practical opportunities to modernize processes, improve data and reporting, and scale AI and automation for measurable outcomes.

The leader acts as a Finance translator, ensuring solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and adopted in a disciplined, controlled manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Data, Analytics, or related field.
12+ years of experience in Finance, financial services, transformation, or related roles.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and shaping strategy.
Strong understanding of Finance processes, data flows, governance, and controls.
Executive communication and stakeholder influence are essential.
Ability to drive technology-enabled change with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, prioritization, and execution of technology-enabled innovation across Finance.
Partner with Finance, Technology, Data, Risk, and enterprise teams to identify opportunities.
Translate finance pain points into actionable technology and automation initiatives.
Scale high-value AI and automation use cases to improve productivity and controls.
Establish governance, metrics, and adoption plans for finance innovation initiatives.
Provide executive recommendations on investment priorities and delivery approaches.
Champion responsible adoption of new tools with change leadership and training.
