Job summary

A local organization in Bloomington is seeking a candidate for a paid position to supervise volunteer counters each Sunday following the service. Responsibilities include managing and taking deposits to the bank and recording contributions in the Servant Keeper system. While an accounting or finance background is preferred, it is not required. This role is integral to supporting the community and requires reliable availability on Sundays along with occasional other days.

Qualifications

• Preferred accounting or finance background but not required.
• Experience with church or nonprofit finances is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise various volunteer counters each Sunday after the service.
• Take deposit to the bank.
• Enter various contributions in Servant Keeper.
• Work with and report to Financial Administrator.
• Occasional other days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise various volunteer counters each Sunday after the service
• Exception: festivals (Easter and Christmas Eve) are not counted after the service(s) but at the bank the following business day
• Take deposit to the bank
• Enter various contributions in Servant Keeper
• Including, but not limited to, general contributions, tracking gifts & memorials for funerals and special gatherings, special gifts (VBS, youth activities, fundraisers, etc.)

Paid position.

Preferred accounting or finance background but not required.
