Job summary

Dominium seeks a Finance Tax Intern for a full-time, on-site internship from January 7, 2027 to May 21, 2027. You will support the Tax team with tax returns, reporting, and data analyses while gaining exposure to corporate, partnership, and real estate taxation.

You will collaborate with internal staff and external partners, develop tax accounting skills, and strengthen Excel and data-analytics abilities. A related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI/Power Query/SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with federal, state, local, partnership, and property tax returns, schedules, and workpapers.
• Review and organize financial and tax information to support compliance and reporting.
• Support tax compliance by researching deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Perform tax analyses, reconciliations, and special projects as assigned.
• Track invoices, prepare payment requests, and maintain tax records and filing systems.
• Assist with Minnesota annual renewals and other registrations as needed.
• Conduct data analysis using financial and operational data; prepare reports.
• Participate in departmental meetings and process-improvement initiatives.
