Job summary

Addison Group in Chicago seeks an Operations Systems Associate to maintain master records in holdings and transactions data, and to support pricing and reconciliation activities.

You will work with Finance and Accounting, assist in designing requirements for new system features, and participate in monthly release testing. Strong Excel and communication skills along with a 4-year degree are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of operations experience in Financial Services.
• 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Fast learner, detail-oriented, thorough with strong analytical skills.
• Works well in a team environment and independently.
• Desire to continually improve processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create/Edit master records in the holdings and transactions data repository, including legal entity information, bank and brokerage account information, and security details.
• Enter pricing and published rate information in the holdings and transactions data repository.
• Review transaction data with support from the Finance Team.
• Save supporting documentation to the online document repository.
• Assist in documenting design requirements for new system features and enhancements requested by business users.
• Perform testing of system changes in the monthly release cycle.
• Provide support to the Accounting and Finance Teams to resolve reconciling items.
• Assist senior Operations Systems Team members with ad hoc projects.
