Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Manager to lead SAP FI implementations, consolidation, and reporting across the enterprise. Based in Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA, you will partner with finance and technology leaders to drive transformation and ensure data accuracy in the record-to-consolidate process.

You bring 5+ years in financial or accounting roles, deep SAP FI experience, GAAP knowledge, and proven project leadership in a large, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial or accounting roles, including experience with a large-scale SAP installation.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with SAP FI or a comparable ERP FI system supporting financial consolidation and reporting.
• Established expertise in financial operations, financial controls, GAAP accounting, and financial reporting.
• Strong critical thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen.
• Experience directing the accounting and reporting of a complex, diverse, international, multi-entity financial organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-visibility initiatives including ongoing business support for accounting projects, data compliance, and system enhancements.
• Lead financial consolidation processes and support new business integration and modernization efforts.
• Partner with finance and technology leaders to set direction and execute project activities.
• Demonstrate strong accounting/background with project management and ability to build consensus across the organization.
• Champion change on enterprise-scale initiatives involving cross-functional teams and significant budget.
