Job summary

Thomas Edwards Group is seeking a Senior Systems Accountant to support and optimize finance systems, reporting, and accounting processes. This role serves as a key liaison between Finance and Technology, ensuring system integrity, efficient operations, and strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate brings 6–8 years in finance systems or accounting, SAP ERP experience, and a track record of collaborating with cross‑functional teams on process improvements, reconciliations, and month‑end close.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in finance systems, accounting, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience supporting reporting processes and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize finance systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, training, and system administration
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Support system governance, documentation, audits, and compliance activities
• Identify and implement process and system improvements
