Unknown Client, a leader in global finance, seeks a Business Analyst to join its Financial Operations team in New York. You will support SAP-based accounting and reporting systems during a major testing initiative, collaborating with finance, accounting, and tax professionals across the firm.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of business analyst experience in financial services or consulting.
• Hands-on testing experience: write test cases, run UAT, and track defects.
• SAP experience is a strong plus (BPC, Analysis for Office, FI/CO).
• Advanced Excel; SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Understanding of accounting and finance processes (e.g., month-end close, GL).
• Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, run, and document testing on accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Support SAP, BPC, Analysis for Office, Concur, and related applications.
• Maintain master data and hierarchies; process user access requests.
• Triage ServiceNow tickets for onboarding and month-end activities.
• Write and maintain process docs, guides, and end-user training materials.
• Partner with finance and IT on requirements, process improvements, and upgrades.
