Qualifications

• 2–4 years of business analyst experience in financial services or consulting.
• Hands-on testing experience: write test cases, run UAT, and track defects.

• Advanced Excel; SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Understanding of accounting and finance processes (e.g., month-end close, GL).
• Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder collaboration.

Our client, one of the most respected names in global investment banking, is hiring Business Analysts for its Financial Operations team. You’ll support the firm’s SAP-based accounting and reporting systems during a large testing initiative, working closely with finance, accounting, and tax professionals across the firm.

What you’ll do

• Plan, run, and document testing on the firm’s accounting and financial reporting systems, and report results to finance leadership.
• Support finance and tax users across SAP, BPC, Analysis for Office, Concur, and related applications.
• Maintain master data and hierarchies, including cost centers, profit centers, and accounts, and process user access requests.
• Triage ServiceNow tickets for new-joiner setups and support month-end activities.
• Write and maintain process documentation, system guides, and end-user training materials.
• Partner with finance and IT on requirements, process improvements, automation, and system upgrades.

What you’ll bring

• 2–4 years of experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, or finance systems analyst, ideally in financial services or consulting.
• Hands-on testing experience, such as writing test cases, running UAT, and tracking defects in Jira or a similar tool.
• Exposure to an ERP or finance system. SAP experience is a strong plus, especially BPC, Analysis for Office, or FI/CO.
• Advanced Excel skills. SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• An understanding of accounting and finance processes, such as month-end close, the general ledger, or consolidation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and comfort working with stakeholders at all levels.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field.
