Job summary

Cvent seeks an experienced EBS Finance Analyst to lead GL, AR, AP and financial reporting in Oracle EBS. You will manage multi-entity consolidations, revenue recognition, and ensure GAAP adherence across global finance teams.

You will collaborate with IT and Finance to optimize processes, drive automation, and implement AI-enabled analytics to enhance accuracy and speed of reporting. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as EBS functional analyst, GL accountant, or similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite ERP (GL, AR, AP; exposure to other modules is a plus).
• Proven experience with general ledgers, consolidations, revenue recognition, receivables, and payables.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS financial modules, including configuration, navigation, and reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (debits/credits, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany, consolidations).
• Proficiency in Excel and building analytical models, reports, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, able to explain financial results to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support period-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis.
• Assist with multi-entity / multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations in Oracle EBS.
• Support revenue recognition processes per standards and policies.
• Collaborate with teams to validate revenue data and monitor deferrals in Oracle EBS.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Partner on monthly/quarterly/annual reports, GAAP and tax reporting.
• Drive Oracle EBS enhancements, upgrades, and integrations; automate where possible.
• Lead AI adoption in finance processes: reconciliations, forecasting, document processing.
