Job summary

Ironclad is seeking a Senior Finance Systems & AI Engineer to own the data infrastructure, integrations, and AI automation powering our Finance teams. This role sits within the Finance organization and reports directly to the VP of FP&A with a dotted line to the Controller.

You’ll design finance systems architecture, manage FP&A planning, automate monthly close, and build agentic workflows with SOX controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Finance and 3+ years in Finance Systems, Business Applications, or FP&A Engineering at a high-growth tech company.
• AI-first mindset with hands-on AI/LLM-powered automation in Finance or operations.
• Deep experience with at least one modern EPM platform including data model design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Finance Systems Architecture & Integration: design and maintain reliable integrations across the Finance stack.
• EPM Platform Ownership: end-to-end FP&A planning architecture and governance.
• Financial Close Automation: automate high-cost manual steps and produce monthly forecasts.
• AI Automation & Agentic Workflows: identify opportunities and build trusted automated outputs.
