Financial Systems Administrator

Hybrid | Freehold, NJ Area

A growing organization in the Freehold, NJ area is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to support and optimize its enterprise financial systems. This role will serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT, ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and related financial technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial systems expertise, business process knowledge, and technical troubleshooting capabilities, with experience supporting cloud-based ERP platforms in a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and related business applications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for financial system issues, enhancements, and user support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues involving Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and related financial processes.
• Perform root cause analysis utilizing SQL and other tools to investigate system, data, and reporting issues.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by ensuring system availability and data integrity.
• Monitor system integrations, interfaces, and automated processes, resolving issues and coordinating corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
• Configure system settings, support testing efforts, and coordinate deployments for system enhancements and updates.
• Validate financial reports and assist in resolving data discrepancies across reporting platforms.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials for end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP or financial systems in a business environment.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or comparable cloud-based ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial processes including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and period-end close activities.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting validation.
• Experience supporting system integrations, interfaces, and data management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively partner with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA, or related integration technologies.
• Experience supporting reporting and business intelligence platforms.
• Oracle Cloud certifications or related ERP certifications.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
