Job summary

Capaxrm is seeking a Finance Systems Administrator (NetSuite) to own and optimize NetSuite across administration, development, and integrations. You will partner with Finance and IT leadership to design scalable automation and reliable data flows.

You will implement SuiteScript 2.x customisations, build SuiteFlow workflows, and manage restful and SOAP-based integrations with Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or Zapier. This role demands hands-on ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience in admin, development, or ownership.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x including RESTlets, client/server scripts, and Map/Reduce.
• Experience building and maintaining NetSuite integrations using REST, SOAP/SuiteTalk, and webhooks.
• Hands-on experience with Celigo, Boomi, Workato, Zapier, or similar integration platforms.

Responsibilities

• NetSuite Ownership: manage the NetSuite environment end-to-end including configuration, access, licensing, and release management.
• Development & Customisation: build and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customisations, SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, and SuiteApps.
• Integrations: design and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and SuiteTalk.
• Finance Systems Automation: identify inefficiencies and implement scalable automation with Finance stakeholders.
• Reporting & Analytics: develop SuiteAnalytics reports, dashboards, saved searches, and KPIs.
• Technical Support: act as escalation point for NetSuite issues and long-term solutions.
• System Improvements: evaluate NetSuite functionality including AI capabilities to improve processes.

Finance Systems Administrator (NetSuite)

About the Role

We are working with a fast-growing technology company looking for a Finance Systems Administrator to join its IT & Security team as the dedicated technical owner of its NetSuite environment.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on technical position where you'll take responsibility for everything NetSuite, from day-to-day administration and customisation to developing integrations, improving workflows, and driving automation.

Working closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders, you'll act as the primary NetSuite technical expert while reporting directly into IT leadership.

The position offers significant autonomy, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to eventually take ownership of the wider Finance applications portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• NetSuite Ownership: Manage the NetSuite environment end-to-end, including configuration, user access, permissions, licensing, system health, and release management.
• Development & Customisation: Build and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customisations, SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, and SuiteApps.
• Integrations: Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SuiteTalk, and integration platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or Zapier.
• Finance Systems Automation: Partner with Finance and Accounting to identify inefficiencies, eliminate manual processes, and implement scalable automation solutions.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop SuiteAnalytics reports, dashboards, saved searches, and KPIs to improve financial visibility.
• Technical Support: Act as the primary escalation point for NetSuite-related issues, troubleshooting complex technical problems and delivering long-term solutions.
• System Improvements: Evaluate emerging NetSuite functionality, including AI and machine learning capabilities, to improve business processes.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, integration architecture, workflows, and system procedures.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience in administration, development, or technical platform ownership.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x, including RESTlets, client/server scripts, and Map/Reduce.
• Experience building and maintaining NetSuite integrations using REST, SOAP/SuiteTalk, and webhooks.
• Hands-on experience with Celigo, Boomi, Workato, Zapier, or similar integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite financial modules, including GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
• Experience developing SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, saved searches, and reporting solutions.
• Ability to independently manage a NetSuite environment and work directly with senior Finance and IT stakeholders.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification.
• Previous experience within a high-growth SaaS or technology business.
• Experience with AI-driven ERP functionality and automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with additional business systems such as Okta, HubSpot, and Box.
• Exposure to wider Finance applications, including expense management, FP&A, procurement, and financial reporting tools.
