Job summary

BorgWarner seeks an Accounting Supervisor to oversee AP/AR, the general ledger, and the financial close. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring strong internal controls and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience in AP, AR, and close.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with OneStream, ADP reporting tools, Concur, Citibank, or SharePoint is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations and close activities.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Coordinate internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit support.
• Serve as finance system key user for SAP and related tools.
• Lead and develop AP/AR staff, manage workload, and drive process improvements.
