Job summary

Stange Law Firm, PC is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Finance Department at the firm's headquarters. The role is based in Clayton, Missouri, and will relocate to Creve Coeur, Missouri, on August 1, 2026.

Salary ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, with bonus opportunities. You will work closely with the Finance Director on strategic financial initiatives, including forecasts, reports, and analysis.

Qualifications

• One to three years of finance or accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial forecasts, balance sheet projections, and cash flow projections
• Reconciling bank accounts and assigned balance sheet accounts
• Performing financial modeling and complex business analysis
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Evaluating the financial feasibility of new office locations and expansion opportunities
• Analyzing business opportunities, pricing, and return on investment
• Assisting with financial reporting and helping improve reporting automation and efficiency
• Preparing year-end audit support
• Assisting with special projects
• Supporting the Finance Director with additional financial and operational initiatives
