Job summary

Amazon Air Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the expanding air freight business. You will partner with Air Cargo, GFAS, Network Planning and other Amazon Air teams to scale revenue, drive forecasting, and influence strategic and tactical decisions with strong financial modeling skills.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Product and Pricing, and a proven ability to communicate clearly with executives to influence outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 4+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses

Responsibilities

• Drive forecast processes (Annual Operating Plans, 3-year plan, M/BR) with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing.
• Educate partners on financial/non-financial trade-offs and make judgements in ambiguous data environments.
• Build financial rate cards to analyze profitability of customer deals and pricing.
• Analyze ROI of programs and generate insights from large data sets.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop metrics and goals to improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes.
