Job summary

Amazon Freight Less-than-Truckload seeks a Finance Manager to lead margin analysis and capital expenditure planning within the Transportation Finance team. You will partner with Operations, FP&A and Accounting to build and interpret financial models and drive strategic decisions for the global network.

The role requires exceptional financial modeling, strong data mining with Excel, Python/SQL or Tableau, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance experience.
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis with data interpretation.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders across the business and building financial models with impact.

Responsibilities

• Own Shipper level Margin Analysis and collaborate with Sales, Pricing and other teams to address margin issues.
• Perform Cost dives with Cost Planning and Execution and build templates for weekly, monthly and YTD performance with leadership commentary.
• Partner with Cross Functional teams on cost allocation and reporting methodology.
• Own E2E CAPEX planning for Truck Load and LTL, build ROI/FCF/PBP/IRR models and support CAR approvals.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects and improve finance tools across teams.
• Collaborate with FP&A and partner finance teams to align LTL plans with worldwide operations and inbound transportation budgets.
