The University of Chicago BSD Finance Service Delivery department seeks a Budget Staff 2 to coordinate operating and capital budgets across divisions and units. You will support monthly and ad hoc reporting, assist with accounts payable/receivable, and help develop long-range financial plans under supervision of the Manager, Finance Service Delivery.

Responsibilities include KPI dashboards, annual operating budget preparation, and financial analysis to inform HR and academic affairs decisions.

Qualificações

• College or university degree in a related field is required.
• 2–5 years of work experience in a related job discipline preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with financial modeling capability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide reporting/analysis for the SDU, including report generation and verification of financial information.
• Assist in annual operating budget development and budgeting processes.
• Perform Accounts Payable/Receivable tasks and support month-end close.
• Leverage Excel to streamline and automate reports.
