Job summary

HITEC Power Protection is seeking a Senior Finance Controller for the Americas service business in Houston. You will guide financial planning, governance, and profitability across the service lifecycle.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and close processes, ensure ERP ISAH data integrity, and coordinate tax compliance with external advisors, enabling informed decision-making. You will oversee WIP, revenue recognition, and asset accounting; you should be proficient with ERP systems and MS

Responsibilities

• Advise the Controller Americas and Service Management on financial performance and forecasting.
• Implement and support financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor financial performance of service projects across lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, costs, margins, profitability, and variance analysis.
• Develop the annual Service budget and maintain service forecasts and Last Estimates (LE).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, management analyses, and performance dashboards.
• Determine, reconcile, and support WIP, accrued revenue, deferred revenue, warranty provisions, and other project-related estimates.
• Monitor warranty-related financial performance and coordinate warranty reviews.
• Ensure data integrity of service-related financials in the ISAH ERP system and reporting tools.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and audits.
• Prepare and coordinate tax compliance activities with external advisors.
• Prepare and maintain liquidity and cash flow forecasts for the Service business.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, pricing analyses, and other finance projects.

• Implement and support financial policies, procedures, and internal controls established by management
• Monitor the financial performance of service projects throughout the project lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, costs, margins, profitability, and variance analysis
• Develop the annual Service budget and maintain service forecasts and Last Estimates (LE), providing regular updates and recommendations based on financial performance
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, management analyses, and performance dashboards to support decision-making
• Determine, reconcile, and support Work in Progress (WIP), accrued revenue, deferred revenue, warranty provisions, and other project-related accounting estimates in accordance with company policies
• Monitor warranty-related financial performance and coordinate periodic warranty reviews with the Service Management

Requirements
