Job description

The Sr Finance Manager will provide accounting and finance services and lead processes in support of business objectives. This role will provide information for management through preparation and presentation of financial statements and analysis reports; manage general accounting and business transactions for various finance functions in compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee financial accounting, internal controls, statutory reporting, and compliance to ensure accurate and reliable financial results.
  • Partner with business and finance leaders to plan, measure, and report performance, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and support pricing and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise for ongoing operations, new initiatives, and complex transactions; research and document conclusions through formal accounting position papers.
  • Stay current on new accounting standards and lead the adoption of new policies, ensuring timely and compliant implementation.
  • Maintain, communicate, and enforce the company’s accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
  • Support international finance teams and Company leadership by providing guidance on financial reporting and accounting matters.
  • Partner with global finance teams and external auditors to complete statutory financial reporting accurately and on time.
  • Manage monthly close activities for assigned areas or segments, including account reconciliations and review of financial reporting packages.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial results and analysis for management; work cross‑functionally to understand business drivers that impact forecasts and projections.
  • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits, serving as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
  • Oversee business systems, processes, and SOX controls; validate new or updated procedures and ensure documentation remains current.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives using CIMS tools and concepts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on enterprise‑wide projects, helping implement standard practices and achieve broader business objectives.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
  • 3 or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

  • Experience with the consolidation process across multiple legal entities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of various financial regulations (i.e. GAAP, international laws).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 10%-15% internationally.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), active license.
