Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Control & Compliance Intern to support internal control testing and end-to-end monitoring efforts. You will work with Risk & Controls teams, developing process testing, and using data analytics to identify control gaps. The program offers mentoring, leadership sessions, and cross-functional exposure within a major U.S.

grocery operator. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and be available May 24, 2027–August 13, 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Process Improvement, or similar degree.
• Action oriented with drive to achieve success.
• Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork and listening skills.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Proficient with Excel / Microsoft suite.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support test design for internal controls and monitoring.
• Assist in evaluating financial and IT control procedures.
• Contribute to risk and controls projects and remediation efforts.
