Job summary

Citi is seeking a Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst in Taguig to support regulatory reporting, close processes, and management reporting. The role requires collaboration with Finance teams to ensure accurate, timely financial statements in line with US GAAP and local requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail, with an emphasis on controls, process improvement and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to regulatory bodies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC)
  • Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers including adjustments and consolidations
  • Assist with financial and management reporting, planning, metrics, monitoring and forecasting
  • Document business requirements, review test scripts, and coordinate with partners for migrations of key releases
  • Identify and resolve problems using Finance knowledge and escalate as needed
  • Assist in implementing workflow changes and process redesign
  • Support management of processes, reports, or products within defined parameters
  • Ensure risk considerations and regulatory compliance are incorporated in decisions

Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst (C11) is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
  • Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
  • Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, metrics, monitoring and forecasting
  • Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases
  • Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed
  • Assist with the implement work flow or process change and redesign
  • Assist in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Execute processes and procedures within defined parameters
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
